Our Phonic Dictation series was written to develop and transfer students' phonic and spelling skills to extended reading and writing tasks.
Each passage concentrates on a particular phonic concept. Pupils are required to complete five tasks for each passage, demonstrate their understanding by illustrating it and attaching labels, identify and correct spelling and punctuation errors, copy the passage to focus on handwriting and finally the passage is dictated to the pupil.
Speech pathologists, occupational therapists and teachers collaborated in the development of this valuable phonic resource.
