NCTE Projector Guideline Changes

Recently the NCTE issued amendments to their guidelines surrounding projectors, please find below details of these changes.  The document details that if you, the customer, can source a projector from a local company on a “better value for money” basis you can now do so.   Previously you could only source projectors from companies that were on the framework.  Please refer to page 2 and question 7 on the framework document below.

The SANYO projector is an excellent projector in terms of price, warranty and quality, this projector comes with a 3 year de-install / re-install warranty.  This means that if you ever have an issue with your projector over the 3 year period SANYO will arrange to call out to you the next business day.  Also included in the warranty is one free bulb replacement in the 3 years.  Under the framework initiative (Question 5, Section B) you must have a “3-year next-business-day on-site warranties” to qualify for the grant money.

Another great feature of the SANYO projectors is that shortly all projectors will be orange in colour.  The orange projectors are solely for use within the education sector.  The orange colour make them very undesirable for thieves as there is a smaller chance they can re-sell them.  This means there is a chance they can be returned if they are stolen from the school.
